Desmond Townhouse Suites
Each of our 4 spacious Suites are designed with our client’s comfort in mind.
Specific soft tone colours have been chosen in all the Suites to ensure our clients enjoy a tranquil night’s sleep in our beautifully and lovingly restored Georgian B&B.
Available in all Suites, Nespresso coffee machine, tea/herbal, free WIFI, TV, and hairdryer. Also hand-made soaps in the Bathrooms along with shampoo and shower/body gel made from The Irish Handmade Soap Company and complimentary still water. Extra pillows in the wardrobe and luggage racks.
Our 4 bathrooms are also very spacious with generous walk-in showers with one bath/shower. All have ample space to enjoy time out after a hectic day of sightseeing or meandering around the historic port of Kinsale.
Outside on the first floor, there is a guest’s fridge that holds fresh milk and homemade treats to enjoy with their Nespresso Coffee or Teas.

Charles Fort Suite
This magnificent Suite with wonderful views of Kinsale Harbour gets its name from the local Charles Fort one of the country’s largest star-shaped Fort.
Charles Fort is a beautifully spacious Triple Suite with a 6’.6” long bed. The Suite itself is 390sq.ft or 36 sq.mtrs and can sleep 2 or 3 (Extra person incurs an additional charge of €60 per night if booked as a triple).
Also spacious Bathroom with Bath/Shower.

This aptly named Suite was named after Desmond Castle located across the street built around 1150circa.
Desmond Castle is a beautiful bright spacious Deluxe Double with a 6’.3” long Sleigh Bed. The Suite itself is 325sq.ft or 30 sq. mtrs and sleeps 2 with roomy comfort.
Equally spacious Bathroom with walk-in shower.
Rate quoted based on Double Room rate. Sleeps 1 or 2. No Single occupancy discount.
